Product looks good on Amazon pictures. However, after receiving, it was made from plastic. It may work with lighter weight GoPros but definitely not for the heaver insta360 camera. The grips are also not very good. I have it so tight, the oil started to seep out of the rubber grips but it still rotates on my handlebar every time I hit a bump. If I put a small 4 inch extension, the entire assembly flexes quite significantly. It such a big clamp and looks like it would be able to get a better grip but it does not.If you have a slightly heavier camera than a go pro, this mount will not be able to support it.

For the price, and for a particular range of usage, this is a great little camera mount. HOWEVER, if you exceed its limitations, or expect too much of a $13 camera mount, you will be disappointed.I needed something to mount my smartphone to a 1.5" roll bar, for lap-timing, in-car recording, etc.... First of all, they are not kidding: 1.5" is the maximum this will fit. Mine *does* fit, and it's securely tight, but it took some delicate finangling to get it there. Second, while it does hold my phone reasonably steady while driving, I do wish the ball joint tightened down more than it does. If you were to use a heavier action cam, or god forbid a DSLR or camcorder, I'm pretty sure it would flop right over. Even with just my phone, I can get more movement out of that joint than I would like. But again... $13. I've used mounts that cost three or even four times as much, that don't work as well. Managed expectations and not taking this thing down a gravel rally road, and you should be happy with this.

I've been using this product for nearly a year and it is still holding up great. I have an adventure touring motorcycle and I take it on dirt and gravel roads and do some mild cross country, as well as commuting daily. The mount has remained installed the entire time even when the camera isn't attached. I clamped the mount to my crash bars and even though they get a mild resonant vibration at a certain engine RPM the video remains stable, unlike some other mounts I've used. In fact I can reach down and touch the bars and feel the buzz, but when I touch the camera mount point I don't feel it, so the mount seems to provide some level of damping, at least at that frequency. The rubber inside the clamp holds well, you don't have to really crank it down hard. The swivel ball also holds very well and even on rough roads the camera doesn't shift. The hardware feels like it is good quality and it has held up without issue. If I had need of another similar product I would definitely buy it again.
