The upper is made from a soft, mold to the foot, Brazilian leather and designed with a traditional wing tip for style. Inside, a molded EVA insole mimics the shape of the shoe for additional foot and arch support. Secure for toe stands, the toe box has a medium reinforcement and offers less restriction on the flex point. Double layer sole and stacked, solid heel straight out of the box. Made of genuine leather, the sole has been stitched for added security. Signature Tele Tone® toe and heel taps are flush mounted for a trademark Capezio sound that begs to be heard.

I love these shoes unfortunately I have to return. My heel kept coming out of these shoes. No matter how snug they were or how tight they were tied. I tried back of shoe cushions & it still slipped off. However, shoe is very well made. Leather is thick & the stitching is beautiful.very well cushioned all over with good arch support. This shoe is heavier than I’m used to but it produces a deep sound which is ideal. I know a lot of reviewers had same issues with the heel slipping out. Capezio needs to fix that issue. They would have a winner

Shoes were ok, but slipped off the heel and after spending that much money you don’t want to spend more to stick something cheap on the heel to keep it from slipping or pay a cobbler to fix it. Also, I didn’t get a refund issued until 6 weeks after my return was received. Overall not happy.

These professional style tap shoes from Capezio are beautiful, well made and deliver a clear sound. They arrive with an included carrying bag. And they arrived the day after I ordered themSadly I bought a size too small based on my previous Capezio Flex tap shoe, and had to return.

I ordered a 7.5W based on the fact that my Capezio character shoes are a 7.5 and both styles should be equivalent to your street shoe size according to Capezio size charts. I generally wear a 7.5-8.0 and these were just too short to dance in as my toes were right up against the end of the shoe. I really liked the feel of the quality of the shoe, it looks, basically everything about it BUT the heel will not stay on my foot. I couldn't take one step with out it flipping off no matter how tightly I tied the laces. They would be impossible to dance in. This was really disappointing since the rest of the shoe was great and an 8.0 probably would have fit nicely. For reference, my metatarsals are wider (though I rarely need a wide width in regular shoes) and my heel is narrower. I wear a size 8.5 in both Bloch Jazz taps and Bloch JSS tap shoes.

True to street shoe size for me. I love the sound but I do find that I need to wear them barefoot otherwise my heel slips out. The heel seems to be more shallow than the Block JSams. For comparison, I need a half size up in JSams.

I am a size 7, street shoe. I needed a 71/2 to accommodate a little arthritis, foot surgery & I've been dancing for decades. My last pair were custom made by Capezio in NY and have lasted over 40 years.
