I purchased these for a trip to Europe during the summer. I need a pair of shoes to wear in the sea to avoid getting stung by jellyfish. I didn't like the look of the standard sock-style beach shoes. I decided to purchase these instead. I wore them to walk to the beach, on rocky shorelines and in salt water. They held up very well and stayed on my feet while swimming. The leather got a little bit crispy at the end of three weeks in salt water and sun but nothing a little leather conditioner or saddle cream can't fix.

I ordered a size up but they were still too small. Just ordered a size 9 and hope they will fit. I use these in my barre class. The leather is very nice.

Well made shoe , width I found to be accurate (I ordered a narrow width) however I found this shoe to run a half size to one full size smaller . I wear a women’s 7 narrow almost exclusively and I’ll have to buy a 7.5 narrow for myself . If buying for a child I’d order a full size up to allow for growth.
