This item looks like a floating tube for lazy river drifting, but has much of the functionality of a small fishing boat. You are able to sit up fairly straight in this boat, and it can accommodate one or two oars to help steer as well as a tackle box and maybe even a few snacks. It is comfortable to sit in and easy to transport, either inflated or completely flat.This floater is sturdier than most children's pool floaters. It can handle being poked by sticks and dragged by rocks on the water, and maintains its full inflation for a long period of time. I have used it on a very large lake near my house and although I only stayed near the shoreline, it took me around the entire lake and I actually caught a few small bass!Overall this product is easy to use, is more than roomy enough for one adult but also compresses very small to be stored virtually anywhere. It is a lot of fun and a unique way to do some casual fishing or just floating. Since I don't own a boat this is definitely my favorite water implement and I will be taking it out every time to the lake!

Nicely made, comes in two pieces - one is the outer layer, and another is the internal “bladder”. The outer shell is made from 600D nylon and feels exceptionally durable, so I wouldn't be too worried of bumping into rocks and branches. It's also double-stitched, which adds to its durability and longevity. The internal “bladder” is made of thick polyethylene, I think. Because it's removable, it can be easily fixed if there are any air leaks, just like a bike tire. It's designed for fishing and angling and has additional side pockets for your fishing accessories, plus a fishing rod holder. But I think it's great for any water activity, not only fishing. If you have a pool in your backyard, that would be a terrific addition to it as well. You know, you can use these side pockets to keep beer cans and ice handy right under your arm ;). I really love that they added the back rest, which greatly improves comfort and enjoyment, especially when you are fishing and have to spend a long time sitting on this float tube. This backrest really helps to avoid back pain and have quality time outdoors. But it's also optional - if you don't need the back rest then just don't inflate it. End-to-end, it's an excellent high-quality product built to last with fishing sport activities in mind, but perfect for having water fun as well. It has lots of features, is well designed, and quite versatile. It's not that cheap, but it's totally worth it. Highly recommended!Bottom line:This High Sierra II inflatable float tube is a high-quality, durable, and versatile float tube designed for fishing and other water activities. Works great. It's hard to find the circular float tubes, but I much prefer them on the river.
