Very poorly constructed. Flimsy at best. The zapper worked for 2 hours and then quit zapping. UV light stayed lit but no Zapping. Thousands of mosquitos landing on the grid but no zapping. This was the first one.The second one the top wasn't connected to the base. I opened the box and the unit wasn't attached to the top. The plastic was broken where the screws attach the lid. Would never chance ordering this a third time

I am constantly outside in the summer, well actually, all days of the year considering where I live. It is hot and humid here all the time which attracts a bunch of bugs and I am fed up with them. I don’t want these bugs bothering my dogs or me or any of my guests that come over. This thing is effective for two acres of space and boy does it do the trick. Non-toxic and pleasant to look at too, it keeps our dinner parties free of unwanted guests and we can be sure it works just as well in the dark when all the nighttime pests come out to play.Truly, the main thing I care about is that the thing zaps those annoying mosquitos and if a stink bug comes anywhere near, I flick it straight at the zapper. Those things are a severe annoyance. I do enjoy the fact that it comes with a little tray that I can just pull out and empty and a cleaning brush to help me keep it clean so it doesn’t become overwhelmed and my senses aren’t disgusted either.

I have this placed on my back porch where I often like to sit and enjoy the outdoors. At times the bugs were getting so pesky though it wasn’t even enjoyable to be there. This has taken care of the problem and all I had to do was hang it and plug it in. It has been extremely effective in luring the bugs and zapping them on contact. I just empty the tray in the evenings and that’s all the maintenance it needs.
