Quick Overview:These Fabuview boys swim trunks were an instant hit with my 15-year-old grandson—who thinks most clothes are “mid”… whatever that means! But between the comfy compression liner and the colors bright enough to be seen from orbit (or Grandma’s beach chair), these trunks passed his picky test. In his words: “I like them.” That’s about as enthusiastic as a teenager gets unless it’s pizza or Wi-Fi.Pros:• Perfect fit – no sagging, even after a full soak• Compression liner = no chafing – ideal for boys who forget that sand gets everywhere• Bright colors – like the 80s and Miami had a neon baby• Quick-dry magic – back on the beach towel before you can say “watch this!”• Soft fabric – comfort level somewhere between pajamas and clouds• Drawstring waist – a must for boys who grow faster than your patienceCons:• Found the exact same swim trunks on Amazon for $12.99—this listing was $19.99• Prepare to be asked if these come in “dad sizes”Tips:• If he picks the pineapple print, just let it ride—Gen Z doesn’t scare easy• Consider grabbing two pairs to avoid last-minute "Where are my trunks?!" chaosMy Take:My grandson loves these swim trunks—and honestly, they are great. The fit, the comfort, the drying speed—all top-tier. But finding them for 30% less under a different listing puts a little dent in the value score. Still a solid buy… just keep your eyes peeled for a better price.📌 Reviewer NoteJust a note—I aim to inform with my reviews, but if I can also make you smirk while steering clear of overpriced glitter disguised as gold, then we’re both winning. As a Vine reviewer, I know my words might be the difference between someone buying or bolting from the 'Add to Cart' button. Also, fun fact: I pay Uncle Sam about 40% of the product’s retail value in taxes—so trust me, I don’t sugarcoat.(My scale: 1 = No thanks, 5 = Buy it again in a heartbeat.)

I got these swim trunks for my 11-year-old son, and he absolutely loves them! The gamepad design is a huge hit—fun, vibrant, and perfect for a video game fan. The compression liner is a great addition; it gives extra comfort and support compared to traditional mesh liners, and my son says it feels much better when swimming or playing at the beach. They’re also quick-drying, which is really helpful for active summer days, and the material feels durable yet soft. I also appreciate the sun protection fabric, especially for long hours outdoors. The fit was true to size (we ordered the 10–13 years option), and the adjustable drawstring waistband helps get it just right.Overall, these trunks check all the boxes: comfort, style, and practicality. Would definitely purchase again in other designs!

This was reviewed for a 12 year old, 63 inch tall and 84 lbs, so tall and very thin. He is a competitive swimmer, has always just worn his practice suits all summer and didn't care that he didn't use board shorts. But I guess now that he's almost 13, he was wanting a "normal" boys swimsuit. This one works great!A lot of clothes that fit his waist are too short on his legs, and if they are long enough, they don't fit the waist, but this is a happy medium. The drawstring works well and he was able to get it tight enough to be secure, but the legs are long enough. His favorite part is the inner liner. He says it makes everything feel "secure" and I think it somewhat mimics the feel of his practice suits which is what he's used to. I personally think it's a cute suit with great pattern and colors.I have washed and dried this suit (on low) once, and it held up fine.

I'm impressed with the overall quality of these swim trunks for my 10 year old son. They feel very smooth and well made. The extra layer inside is a bonus and much preferred over standard boardshorts. They feel much more mailable than board shorts, which typically feel stiff. These are more like a brushed microfiber that is thin and smooth, yet feels durable and nicely pigmented. My son, who is sensory sensitive, tried these on and right away said he likes them and had no complaints. Even with the mesh shorts underneath. I wouldn't quite call them compression shorts, but that turned out to be a good thing. These passed my son's scrutiny of softness and not tugging or pulling or squeezing in any way, shape, or form. Maybe a miracle. His dresser is filled with clothes he refuses to wear that he holds gurdges against for some tag or texture he hates. These are truly that comfy! He'll be able to enjoy the pool and beach this summer, swimming securely with the drawstring. They are true to size, as he wears a 14/16 in pants, and these size 14 trunks fit great with some wiggle room, and the drawstring to tighten before he does any swimming. I also like the style. I took a risk in getting these without asking my son's opinion first, but he actually happened to like the look of them! They just scream cool dude beach day vibes. Overall, these are a great value and as good of quality, or better than what I would expect from any major brand at a department store or sports store at the mall. I would recommend these for boys, especially those looking for soft and comfortable materials. The price is right, the style is right, the fit is right, and the comfort is right. Right choice overall!
