I compared the brightness of this bulb to a standard halogen bulb. The seller claims it's 600% brighter. While it is brighter, it's not 600% brighter or even 100% brighter—I would estimate about 50% brighter. For this reason, I'm deducting one star.The light patterns for both the low and high beams closely resemble those of a regular halogen bulb, which is a positive aspect. I also tested the reverse polarity of the bulbs. They function correctly whether the ground pin is positive or negative. Both the low-beam and high-beam LEDs illuminate independently, but if power is supplied to both simultaneously, only the high-beam LEDs will activate.Lastly, I'm removing another star because this bulb is not DOT approved, making it illegal for use on the road. Personally, I plan to use them in my snowmobile, which is an off-road vehicle.

The LEDs were the perfect size. It fit into the socket as designed and it was not much of a hassle. They shine bright and the color is a true white.
