I read the other reviews and ordered size 5, my dancer has a street shoe between 8-8.5. She wears another style of Bloch for her private dance studio and we like stretch canvas. She really likes these and will use them as her 2nd pair.

My daughter put them on and they were a little bit bigger then I thought. She was a 4.5 in another pair(brand) of ballet shoe and they weren’t fitting her anymore so I decided to go half a size up. I think that in a couple of months they will fit great. Other than that they look like they are good quality.

My daughter's been using these Bloch ballet slippers for a few years now and loves them. Sizing is difficult though. She's a size 7 in women's street shoes and ended up finally determining that the size 5B was right for her! The heel is still a bit long but otherwise great fit and you can see her point without too much wrinkling or bunching.

Nice quality product, but fits large! I take a size 8 regular shoe size and I purchased a size 6 as recommended by the Bloch sizing chart. The fit was too big and i ended up going down to a size 5 - three sizes smaller than my street shoes. Otherwise, very happy and excited to try out in class!

Had no problem with this....they fit great! I read the other reviews and went to Bloch's website and sized myself according to their chart and it all worked out. I normally take a 7 in street shoe and the 5 is perfect. Yes, there is little extra room in the heel but no bother to me.
