I've got a 12ft umbrella I wanted to mount on my deck, so I knew I needed something strong to hold it in place.Boy oh boy, this mount is exactly that. Super thick steel with big juicy welds, and it weighs about 5lb. This sucker isn't going anywhere unless my whole deck blows away.So easy to install, just loosen the hand screws, position it, tighten them, insert umbrella, tight the back, done deal.It is also really cool that they added the gasket in the umbrella tube so that the screws don't damage the umbrella pole. That works very nicely, and the pole itself is 100% secure in there.Totally recommend these if you need to put an umbrella up on the side of your deck and don't want to be drilling into your decking. This shouldn't damage the material of your deck (hasn't to mine - yet - I took it off after leaving it on for a day to double check) and it certainly won't fall off or let your umbrella go for a plane ride.

This clip is such a sturdy thick carbon steel, it will probably outlast both deck railing and probably several umbrellas. The design of the clamp is good and it made a solid lock on my top deck railing. The pole mount part is designed very well, with an inner tongue that goes down the length of the tube, with 2 cinch screws, so the whole tongue pushes against and holds the umbrella pole very securely. The finish on all of the metal parts looks good and rust resistant.

Picked this up as we needed a base or mount for our patio umbrella. Decided on a mount instead of the normal heavy bases as we have a fire pit that makes it hard to get the umbrella in place with the base. This mount does the job.The quality of the craftsmanship isn’t perfect but isn’t terrible either. You can see some discoloration in the finish. Not a deal breaker. It mounts nicely to our fire pit and lets us position the umbrella in the exact spot we want. Tightening it is easy with the thumb screws.Overall, we are happy with the mount. Just wish it had a better finish. May end up painting it…

I'm using this bracket to support a 9 foot patio umbrella on the edge of a 4' wrought iron patio table. Th umbrella is absolutely solid. This bracket is heavy and solid and cranks down tightly to the table top and to the umbrella shaft. I did get some minimal scraping on the paint of the umbrella shaft as I inserted it into the bracket, so I should have been more careful because it's steel on steel. No plastic here. This bracket works great for me and I like that I can move the umbrella around to a fence or another table or whatever very easily. Perfect.
