This design makes so much more sense than banana plugs I've used in the past. The plugs also fit snug in speakers, and these were super cheap. There's not much to complain about really.

Item is as advertised. These are well made, and the wires are held secure by the way of double grub screws. They fit tight and secure into the banana receptacles. The colored outer shells can be installed and switched around after wire installation as well.

These are advertised to work up to 8awg and they do not work with 10awg, I’m not even sure if I’d try 12awg. I was able to get them to work with some 14awg I have in the garage. The e problem is the screws don’t tighten deep enough to screw the cover on. You can fit 10awg into the connector but the cover will now go on with the screws sticking out.

I replaced all of my stereo connections with these plugs and they work perfectly. The tiny screws that hold the wire in place are a little difficult for big hands and need a screwdriver for precision work, but they make a very secure connection.
