It does not depend on a working compressor to get the oil or fluorescent dye into the system, one shot may cure and save a sickened compressor caused by low oil.

Specifications:

Tank Capacity: 1/4oz/7.5ml (Min)-2oz/60ml (Max).
Connections: 1/4" SAE Female.
R134A Coupler Adapter: Low Pressure coupler (inner diameter 13mm) to 1/4" SAE Male.
R1234yf Coupler Adapter: Low Side Quick Coupler (inner diameter 14mm) to 1/4" SAE Male.
Rated working pressure: 3000 psi burst / 600 psi Max. working pressure.

Instructions:

Oil cylinder is filled with 2 ounces of refrigeration oil, check valve screwed onto cartridge and tightened. The inner and outer cylinders are tightened clockwise, and then a little 1/4 SAE threaded inner core is used to discharge a little air inside the blue tube. Connect the low-pressure port of the refrigeration system that needs to be refueled, and add the required amount of cooling oil to the inner and outer cylinders.

Used it on a few vehicles already, and it works good. Doesn't leak down when a/c system is under vacuum and injecting oil.
