I bought this in April and we plugged it in at the end of May. It worked well for 3 weeks and then it didn’t work period. It was dead, no zap nothing. I have bought 3 of these in the past. 2 worked well for 2 seasons and one lasted 1 season. I am not impressed this time round. It still looks brand new.

It definitely zaps the bugs but when it does it sure scares the heck out of you as we have it right along the edge of our spiral staircase. I'll take the zaps rather than the bugs! LOL
