These are for the front hood. These are hood struts not for the tailgate.

This is not the right replacement lift supports for the camaro back hatch. Like it says it is. Not even close! Thats a whole week wasted on waiting for wrong parts while having a 125lb big a$# rear windowglass falling on my head when the broom stick slides out from under it. Gonna try to make em work as broom stick supports or somthing?.

Put on a 2001 Camaro Covertable Trunk. Does not lift the trunk on its own. I still have to lift the trunk over half way for it to start lifting. Works better than the old one and maybe the trunk never opened on its own.
