This product Does fit a 2017 jeep grand CherokeeI was skeptical about ordering since it stated in yellow letter that it did not fit Bur just a heads up it did fit perfectly

Installed this liftgate strut today, overall it’s a decent replacement mart, but could be better.Operationally it functions very well, physically it looks very similar to the OEM part replaced. The only thing I wish had been better is the rubber grommet that seals the strut wiring to the car. Compared to the OEM grommet, this part’s grommet is very little and flimsy. It can be displaced from its placement with little effort.Other than the grommet, there were no issues installing and using this part. The car liftgate opens and closes with no issues.
