This replacement module is a good replacement if you don't want to go OE. It works just fine, but the knobs are stiffer and the backlight is terrible. Bleeds through almost the whole face, not really behind any of the letters or numbers. Other than that it works good for the price.

The module works, exact fitment as an OEM version, however control nobs do not point straight, & while I loved the bright lighting, the decal that is on the module allows light to shine thru it. So, you shouldn't need to fix the manufacturers problems, however I figured it was put together the same as the OEM. Overall, it is assembled like the OEM, however they use tape on the nob posts, so you have to remove the nobs so you can maybe figure out a way to block the light shining thru, since they used tape, you will end up breaking the temp post & directional post. Once I had it apart, you can see they didn't mold the plastic closer to where the light should shine thru. Thus, if you could get it apart correctly, you would have to figure out how to block the light. I won't ask for a refund since it is my fault its broke, I just wish I knew how the lighting was before I bought it, if the seller wants to refund me, I would gladly accept it & send them the broken part back. I went to Napa & purchased a brand new one made by Dorman & it is as close to OEM I have seen & should've just spent the extra & bought the module there. If you are going to be ok with the lighting shining thru & making it hard to see the settings & the nobs not sitting straight, then it does work & seemed to work all functions of my truck.

Quality is pretty OEM from the dimension and structure. The knobs and buttons is identical to the OEM. You can see from the pictures there is a slight difference on the font but not a significant difference. Not a deal breaker.There is a slight more blueish tint so if you are looking for the same OEM green, it will look different. I noticed a lot of the non-OEM replacements like my mirror switch was like that too. Didn't see a bleed in comparison to another one we ordered.Very Easy To Install
