The hood struts seems like decent quality and was a direct fit for my 2001 Lexus GS300. The hood struts also came with new threaded ball inserts (as pictured) already pre-attached so it made installation a total breeze. I noticed some kits from different brands don't include the new threaded ball inserts which would mean you would have to remove them from the old struts which can be a pain. When lifting the hood with the new struts, the hood goes up smoothly and doesn't fling up too quickly giving it an OEM feel. Overall I'm quite impressed with these struts especially for the price. Highly recommend for Lexus GS300 owners.

Easy install and hood not only stays up on its own again but when you lift it initially, it practically lifts itself up. Worked great. Can't speak for longevity yet.
