Exactly as described in the ad. My car is 33 yrs. old and the usual jobbers really haven't had any parts in stock for years. I had to move the lower mounts about an inch to get the proper lift distance but they look good and keep the hatch from hitting my head - so 5 stars from me !! Bonus - they actually arrived a day early !!

Took a chance on these lift supports and turned out just what was needed for rear door on motorhome engine compartment. So far so good.Thanks

The 40lb rating turned out to be closer to 55lb. So the closure took 30lbs more than anticipated, which is quite the noticeable difference.

Used the tip of old one cause I broke one. Used on Pontiac Vibe 2005 excellent replacement. Door nicely lifts open.

Not sure if the product decent as can’t install as there is no mounting hardware. Now what to do?

I bought these to install under a butcher block countertop. They installed easily and work great to help lift it up. Made it easy for homeowners to get in under to fix drier vent.
