Overall, I really like this product and think it's the most usable multifunction headset.Build:The build quality is solid. The ear cups are plastic, but nothing on the headset feels like it's going to fall off. It feels well made and durable. Solid. The only thing I don't like is the Alienware logo, but that's preferenceSound:With the adapter, there's a very light hiss in the background. However, when music is playing or anything like that, it is completely inaudible. It's really only audible when silent. It sounds really good. The base is nice, you can easily tell where footsteps are, and it has a really nice range. I can use it anywhere in my house. The built-in mic is very mediocre, the boom mic is much more usable. Sound canceling is obviously not as good as Sony or Apple airpods, but it is perfectly usable on a plane and gets rid of most of the engine sounds and other such things.I really like that it is very quick to switch from Bluetooth to adapter, you slide the toggle and within 5 seconds it reconnects to the other one. It does not mix the two at the same time, you cannot be listening to your computer and take a Bluetooth phone call, but I knew that when I bought it so it's not a problem. The battery life is amazing as well, I don't think I've heard the low battery sound more than once or twice the entire time I've owned it. I do not plug it in every night, it's not necessary.

Pretty decent headphones. Wish they’d connect to Xbox with the dongle. Bluetooth for Xbox is ok. Work great for my Alienware computer though. ANC has some buffeting that I do not like.

Sound was great on these, software was fairly decent. Comfort was not all there for myself. Headband is to narrow and a little more clamp force then I personally like. Having bluetooth connection as well plus some what decent ANC I think they are a little steep on the price but still a good purchase.

When these were announced, I had my doubt because Alienware was not known for headset and all their previous headsets were mediocre at best. I did purchase them via Dell at release since I desperately needed a headset that can do it all.Let me tell you that, from someone who went through like 20 pairs of headphones & gaming headset in the past 10 years, these are by far the best gaming headset I have used. The main selling point here is the comfort : I dont think I can think of anything more comfortable than this product except the Bose QC15 (that one is hard to beat). Because this is a gaming headset, comfort is very important and this one absolutely nailed it : I use them during work (game tester) and I use them averagely 6 hours per day and I never feel any ear fatigue at all, except my ears would get warm but, that is the same for all headphones in general. These are also built solid, not cheap plastic and does feel premium : at least its a lot more premium than Sony XM5's plasticky buildSound is the part that surprised me the most : their sound signature is similar to Sony XM5 but less bass and obviously less ANC. This is more than enough for gaming and music listening. Fact that the ANC here is not just a gimmick : its actually really decent : better than Sennheiser Momentum 4 of course and might only be inferior to Bose, Sony & Airpods Max. I personally like this type of sound signature where the headphone is just loud and thunderous sounding when you add your own EQ settings. The most important part is the versatility : these do not look flashy or "gamer-ish" . They do not have the crazy RGB lightings or scream for "I am a gamer". They look professional and passive. Since the microphone can be removed, they will work like a pair of ANC headphones when you switch to bluetooth mode : pairing is very fast with both iOS and Android. It only supports AAC & SBC but you have to remember that this is not a music-oriented headphone or audiophile level product. If you want to switch it from music listening on your phone to gaming, just flip the switch and the transition will not take you more than 5 seconds. If there is any flaw, I can only say the mic level is a bit subpar but even that, my friends said they can still hear me clearly and my callouts are good enough for them to understand. And of course... the Alienware Command Center, is garbage even after all these years : luckily I have Aurora R16 so the experience isnt as bad. But its absolutely terrible on a non-Alienware PC (my work PC).Lastly, I would still say, just buy these even if you wont be use them for gaming : 315CAD might seem high but its still a bargain for the versatility and functionality. If it goes on sale, just buy it, you seriously cannot go wrong. As a matter of fact, some of my colleagues are already wanting to purchase these after borrowing mine.

I have been using the headset for a couple of months. They are extremely comfortable and the sound is normally good. The install of the software is easy to work with.I however often get crackling in the headset that can be consistent or goes away for several days. I also have issues with the microphone cutting out while talking software like discord. This issue becomes more frequent when the battery gets low.The wireless distance you can walk away from the computer before losing connection is also fairly low.In addition, the noise cancelation mode gives me an almost instant headache (not joking or being dramatic, I can hear the waves/sound it uses to cancel the surrounding noise). To update the headset, I must plug the headset in and turn it off. Sadly, when you plug the headset in it stays on, soooooo I have not been able to find a way to have it off and plugged in at the same time. Resources say to push and hold the off button, but I have an off/on switch which I can not hold only put into the off position, which does nothing.I reached out to Dell for help, but they refused to help me solve the issues since I bought it “3rd party” (on Amazon) and requested for me to go to a local store which sold dell products for help….For the price of the headset, this should not be an issue. Take $120 bucks off the price and I may suggest getting these to others.

Very comfortable to wear during long gaming sessions. Sound quality is good, the mic is serviceable. ANC is doesn’t cancel out a lot of background noises (Compared to my Bose QC 35 II). But overall a good gaming head set if you get it on sale.

All around excellent headset but not perfect at everything. Comfortable, good sound for music and gaming, ANC works but not the best out there, good enough battery life and charges quickly. Switches well between wifi and bluetooth.

the dual connection mode is awesome because i can use the 2.4 for my pc and the Bluetooth for my phone by flipping a switch every time i make snacks.previously I've had the alienware 510h that were also very good. then the Logitech g733 which was also very good but it more than doubled in price so I switched over. neither one of those have anc. which helps you stay focused on the games, music and movies.I've also had a razor headaet that broke within a week because the stitching was terrible.
