This floor lamp is just simply pretty! It's not a lamp that's big or gaudy and takes up a lot of space.The design is not overwhelming and will fit with any decor.Matte black finish helps to hide fingerprints.... yippee!The base is very heavy which is a good feature because the rest of the lamp is light. The heavy base will definitely keep it from toppling over.The shade is one that I've had many of before and I have found it easier to attach to the lamp frame by doing it a little different than the instructions refer to. I go ahead and Velcro the shade together to form the circle and the put the wire frame in by rolling the frame into the clips on the shade. I'm only sharing this in case anyone has a little trouble assembling it as the directions state. This is a very nice lamp with assembly that's easy and quick....no tools required.....and it even comes with a light bulb.Packaged well!

I’ve been using this floor lamp for a few days now, and it is definitely a great choice, if you want sturdy, style and functionality in one lamp. Its marble base is strong and keeps it firm at one place. it feels secure and doesn’t budge, even with kids around. No wobble at all, no flimsy structure at all ---It has 3 colors temperature settings which are perfect from shifting bright light to low cozy evening light. The foot switch is a thoughtful touch — I can turn it on or off easily without needing to lean over or find a tiny button. Overall, it gives my room a modern and welcoming look.However, shade takes a bit patience to assemble.Recommend it.

This is a beautiful lamp, somewhat contemporary but with enough simple shapes to make using it in an eclectic setting a great thing. The base is heavy and the color-temperature choices make it highly functional, taking it from mood lighting, to seeing the details in a coffee table book. The only con here is the lamp shade that looks like what it is: a DIY effort with flaws, and this lamp deserves better. Still, a great purchase.

Like the look and was very easy to put together. I was slightly worried about the shade because the white fabric just snaps on but it went on easy and looks good. I like the heavy base and the black finish. I’d recommend this light.
