These are perfect, exact replacements for my 2017 Kia Sportage. Nice and strong, which probably means I just have got too used to propping the back hatch up for so long 🫣 Super easy to detach and then install yourself, I looked up videos on YouTube. If you're like me and have never replaced these before, here are some things I noticed: These came wrapped in a metal band around the length if the lifters, to keep them from extending while being shipped (therefore smaller packaging and more protected). You'll need some sharp snips or very strong scissors to cut this - I included a picture of the tool I used. I was afraid it was going to snap back when I cut it, but it didn't - still, good to be cautious. To pop out the c-clips of your old lifters, which are on either end of the lifter, I used a pointy tool which I also included a picture of. It took me about 10-15 minutes overall. Really easy! And I'm happy to have my hatch safely working again 😌
