5. Most plants have soil pH values close to neutral, so the range of pH probes for testing is very small

It does not have an on/off switch, so it arrived with dead batteries installed. The batteries were very difficult to remove.With fresh batteries, the needle only moved when in the light position. The temp/humidity sensor did work, unlike the rest.DON'T BUY THIS JUNK!
