I ordered these circular carpets for my first grade classroom. I have students using them when they want a quiet spot to sit and read. Others are using them when working in the hall. Some of my students who struggle to sit still during carpet lessons are using these as sit spots away from their peers and they seem to be helping with focus! Each mat is a distinctly different colour so that there is no confusion about whether a particular mat is blue or green, for example.The mats are a good size for small children. The under size of the mat has a rubberized backing which helps prevent the mat from slipping on tile floors. The edge of each mat has been covered over with stitching so that it does not fray.The colour of the mat appears to have been applied to the surface, perhaps using some sort of spray? The colour does not go through the entire strand of the carpet. The application of the colour is uneven, so some of the mats look mottled.These mats would be good in a costume situation. My daughter is an elementary school teacher, and she thinks that they would be great during carpet time, especially for those children who are a bit squirmy on the carpet. Another use for the mats would be for identifying the number of students allowed at a particular center. For example, if formats were assigned to a reading center, then only for children could go to the reading centre at a time.Other than the application of a color, the mats seem to be good enough for classroom use. Because of the uncertainty with the color, I am not sure what will happen if you try to wash these mats.

When I saw these kids' floor cushions I thought they'd be a great way to enhance "circle time" in the classroom, but having received them I'm disappointed in the lack of any padding. They're still useful as "where to sit" markers, and the material is soft to the touch with a full-sized rubber backing, but they're not cushions and I find the colouring somewhat off-putting.The mats come vacuum wrapped and I was anticipating they'd puff up once the plastic was removed, but they only expanded a tiny bit. Upon inspecting each mat I realized there was no padding as each mat is made of the fabric (top) stitched to a rubber backing. The fabric has a very soft, but very short, pile. The backing is made of a fine rubberized weave that ensures the mats stay in place.Each mat is large enough to designate a place for a kid so sit, and the bright colours make them stand out. The colouring is a bit odd to me as it seems like only the tips of the pile is coloured, so as you move your hand across the mat you get these streams and blotches of white. To me the effect is not enough to look like a feature, but rather makes me feel like the colouring job wasn't done properly. I know this is not the case and that it's a matter of personal preference, but I don't find it that attractive.Overall, I'm disappointed with the mats as the product photos made me believe these would work as cushions for hard surfaces. They won't. They can still be used to mark out designated places to sit (or stand), but if sitting I'd want to either add a cushion or ensure these were being used on top of carpet and not on hard surfaces. At around $11 a mat (including tax) the pricing seems fair - and indeed is less expensive than other products I've seen, but I wish the supplier would update the product description to make it clear these are only mats and not cushions.

The concept of these rugs is cute, but they are a bit smaller than they appeared in the picture even for my kindergarten student. The rugs don’t have any grip at the bottom and they are super flimsy and don’t seem to be durable. They are more decorative than anything.

These colorful carpet circle seats were such a fun addition to our playroom because they are super soft, cozy and just the right size for little ones to sit comfortably during story time or group activities. I really like that each mat has a non slip backing so they stay in place even when the kids are moving around. They are lightweight enough to easily move and the bright colors make everything feel more cheerful. Cleaning them has been simple too with just a quick vacuum or wipe down which is a huge bonus for busy days.

Overall, they are pretty nice and work well. The grip on the backing is fine and the pile is low. (What I'd expect from this kind of carpet tile) But the one thing I had a problem with was the colouration. These are dyed after production, and I can see the white at the base of the fibers. It makes it looks shoddy and like the colour is coming off, but it's not. They are just made that way. Not a bad carpet tile, my kid loves using them, but I can't help but wonder what corners were cut when these were being made.

I am a preschool teacher and I wanted a way to help my kiddos sit still during read aloud and whole group lessons. These Carpet Circle Seats are perfect! They are brightly colored and so soft and fluffy! My students love them and enjoy sitting on their own circle for group time.Such a great product.
