Excellent part! It fit perfectly and is working very well. This was a good (and much cheaper) replacement part than getting a new original part, and I am extremely happy. I have no complaints.

Installation was easy, it fit perfectly, all of the features/buttons/knobs work (no CANbus errors). It weighs 324 grams compared to the OEM 343 grams, likely because some of the parts seem to be made of lower density plastic. The exterior back cover is an exact dimensional match for the OEM, except it has lower quality control as evidenced by some plastic molding defects (flash, low fill, shrinkage, undercut, etc.). The pictures in the advertisement are of an OE module, the one received does not have the identical Mopar P/N identification sticker or molded in text on the back actuators as shown which is a little misleading. The visible front cover and artwork is an exact match to the OE module as are the knobs. Buttons feel exactly like OE, the knobs do have a little more front to back slop. The temperature knob feels a little looser and less refined (more clicky), but not bad. The fan control knob feels just like the OE. The damper door control knob is the worst of the three, with sloppy index stops which results in less positive position selection. On the back, the parts which connect to the cables and convert the rotary knob motion to linear cable pull motion worry me the most, as they are made of less rigid material and seem like they could bend over and pop off the gear if stressed. So overall I gave it a 3, not sure how long it will last, but at $80 you can buy more than ten of them for the OE list price of $920.

2009 Jeep Wrangler Sport, the a/c knob was so hard to turn it eventually snapped off. Ordered this replacement because we were only in town a couple more days and this was next day delivery. It basically plugged right into place and the knobs turned like new. Unfortunately the Jeep wasflooded and totaled just a couple weeks later so this was only used for a couple of days, no idea how it would have held up in the long run.

It worked, but just barely, to select the vent location. My old one didn't move at all, so it's better, but not much.
