This simply one of, if not the best, "tick tracers" I've ever used. I'm a commercial electrician, & this thing just works! It's simple without all off the beeps, flashing colored lights, laser pointer, or flashlight. No on/off button.......just touch it to what you're testing, & if it lights up red, you have power. It's very accurate too when checking multiple wires in the same junction box--you have to be right on the wire so you don't get a false reading from a nearby wire. Only tick tracer style tester I have used in the last 15 years in the trade!

This is the ticker you need for CatV up to 1000V. No on off just simple, easy, and effective.

I had one of these years ago, think I got it from my Dad. Used it for many years after I got it, probably dropped it a hundred times and it never quit working. It was pretty beat up the last time I remember using it, I lost it somewhere along the way. Since then I've used all the name brand ticks, greenlee - fluke - klein you get the point. They don't last long in my experience and I am tired of buying a new one every year. I decided to look on Amazon for red and white wiggy, and it popped right up. I like it because there are no bells and whistles. No sound, no switch, just a good basic voltage detector that never let me down. Comes with batteries installed.
