The adhesive seems to stick ok on a brand new car with new, clean paint BUT you need to know that these guys are TINY (about 2 and 1/4” in length - 60cm) and will look comically small on the back tailgate or trunk lid of a normal car. At the time I purchased, the emblem dimensions were not shown in the ad. If you are expecting the average size emblem (~3 inches) for the rear of a car, these will disappoint.Also, one of the two emblems came with a black paint smear outside the painted area that I have not been able to clean off.
