I am absolutely in love with these spray bottles! They’ve become my go-to for creating a homemade air freshener and furniture spray. I mix about 1/4 cup of Tyler's Glamorous Detergent with water, and it makes the most amazing DIY Febreze-like spray that leaves my home smelling fresh and clean. Did not receive a blue one, just two clear bottles. I am disappointed because I really like the look of the blue one. That said, these bottles work beautifully! This is my third time ordering this type of bottle in the last year or so because they tend to gum up and stop spraying well after several months of daily use with tap water. I had not ordered this brand previously. This one has a stronger mist and is much more effective in dampening and rejuvenating my sleep-flattened curls than my last one. I also appreciate the smaller size. I had larger ones before and they are more difficult to store and travel with. With two, once one stops working I have a backup!

I bought this so I could evenly spray distilled water on acrylic paints (helps give a nice blended effect during canvas paintings). It works very well, and gives a nice even mist spray. It can go for a long time, and you need to squeeze a little to get it started. Once squeezed, it sprays evenly, giving only a little resistance as whatever internal mechanism delivers the spray evenly.One thing to specify is unlike common spray bottles, this one does NOT let out large droplets during spraying. This is idea for my painting efforts.I would suggest this to others. I have not used essential oils in it (I'm not sure what effect it'll have on the internal mechanisms), but I imagine you can add it, shake before use to evenly disperse, then spray. I would not try adding color paints to it (like very thinned out water color), because I can see over a long period of time the pigments in the paint clogging everything.
