Perfect aftermarket replacement for '06 'vette's hood struts. 10 minute job with 5 minutes of it looking for a small screwdriver to pry up clips.

Los amortiguadores de capó se ajustan perfectamente a mi Corvette C6.🔧 Instalación muy sencilla (y yo NO soy un manitas) en 5 min lo tienes listo con un destornillador plano.Con un solo amortiguador puesto ya aguantaba el capó perfectamente, así que con dos el conjunto queda muy robusto.PERFECTO 👌🏼

Amazon filter system says this item does not fit 2005 C6 Coupe. However, based on title and other reviews I went with it. They fit just fine. Installed very easily. Just remember, you need to pull the tabs to remove your old ones. The new ones just snap on. Read the instructions afterward, and your not supposed to do that apparently. So pull out the tab when you do it. I would start by attaching to fender first, and then hood. The reverse, especially on driver side, is very difficult. I decided to remove from hood after a minute or two and go the other way.This are very strong compared to my stock ones. Of course, those didn't really hold the hood up anymore with just the lightest breeze. After install, I actually needed to pull the hood down from the center to reduce twisting. I'm assuming that will ease up, but over all very happy.I saw one review that said the connections are sloppy. That is not my experience. However, I did have one of the ends not screwed in all the way on delivery. I tightened them all the way down, and they were solid as a rock.
