We use our dye gun multiple times per day after we charge an AC unit. I don't know if the use it gets here would constitute abnormally-high usage, but $80 is a lot to spend on something 2-3 times a year when the o-ring in it splits (good luck fishing a new one down in there) or the fitting stops depressing the schrader enough to put dye in it in the first place. Unfortunately it's supposedly one of the best options available so here I am complaining and then buying another one with no good alternative.
