This net has been a great addition for casual games and more serious matches alike. The 22-foot regulation size gives it a tournament feel, and the hand winch tension system keeps the net tight without sagging in the middle. I found the setup surprisingly quick—everything’s labeled and fits together without tools, which makes it easy to get playing faster. The frame feels solid and the locking wheels make it easy to move and then keep in place. It’s held up well outdoors and the carry bag makes it simple to store or take to the park. Definitely feels like it’s built to last.

This pickleball set weighs 28 lbs.! That is a lot of weight to be carrying around, even for a couple of games of pickleball. So, unless you plan to set this up and keep it in your backyard, this is not a net you can easily take around with you or put together since you will need tools to complete the setup. Assembling and disassembling this is time consuming. However, it is very sturdy. Too bad the welding of the V shape piece in my unit shows signs of cracking. This set does fit in my car. I like the hand crank ability to tighten the net. The metals pieces are thicker than some of the other units I have seen. But ultimately, if you want to just take it out of your car and quickly set it up for a few games, it may not happen since assembly takes a while to complete.

I wanted to like this net. it looked very sturdy/rigid in the listing, and ability to tighten the net with a crank is not usually available on inexpensive net systems. It is of a heavier gauge metal, and the net while not very heavy, would stand up well if not subjected to abuse. And yes, you can tighten the net with the crank. It is heavy enough that it won't blow over without significant wind. However I found several issues. The system comes with a bag which leads you to expect it to be easy to put together/take apart repeatedly ... not really the case. There are a dozen bolts with lock nuts involved - not something you want to put together/take apart often. If you want to put the parts in the bag and close it, you need to do that plus unscrew the wheels (see pic of trying to put bag in bag fully disassembled except for the wheels). The bottom bar has several pieces - when all put together there is enough play that when you begin to tighten the net if flexes enough so there is a 6-8" bow in the middle (see third picture). Finally if you try to tighten the net to regulation (so the middle is only 2" lower than the ends) the whole system "warps" and the wheels come up off the ground on one side or the other (see 2nd picture). The bottom of the net has elastic in it, which make the net very "pretty" (straight/smooth), but since a net tight anywhere except for the top tape has no value in PB, this just makes the net more difficult to attach. If you were planning to only disassembled occasionally, and weren't concerned about net being tightened to regulation, this system would be okay.

This is the real deal. My husband said it took him about 30 minutes or so to put it together and it was pretty straightforward. We used this at our neighborhood block party and it was a hit. I love that it can easily be taken down and stored in the convenient carrying bag that is provided. We used this for pickleball and also the younger kids used it for badminton. It is very durable and well made and is multi functional. It is a really good value based on the quality

Simply put, this is a well designed, well built, and built to last pickleball net. There are many pro's here with one small con.First the good. The net goes together pretty easily. It took about 20 minutes to get it all put together. The instructions were clear and I didn't have any issues putting it together. The pieces are thick steel and I think will hold up very well over time. I'm not sure you could bend one if you really tried. There are six wheels in total, so this rolls really easy. The wheels each have a lock so you can lock it in place where you want it.I also like that this comes apart quickly. We break it into four separate pieces to store in the garage. It only takes a few minutes to take it apart, and maybe 5 minutes to get it hooked up again. It's also light enough that we can easily move it when a car is coming. The net is very tight and the ball jumps out of it when you hit it. This is actually super nice. Every other net I've played on is much looser, so you have to go up to the net to get the ball when you hit it. The only downside to this is actually getting the net stretched on the frame. It does take some time and some muscle. I think as the bungies loosen over time, this won't be as big of an issue. The only real downside (which is a very small criticism) is that when you have the net all setup, the net and the metal pole down the middle don't always align. You have to kind of straighten out the pole each time. With the net under pretty high tension, it can be hard to get it to align. One easy fix would be to tie the bottom of the net to the metal pole right in the middle. Again, this is a very very small critique, but the only tiny issue I noticed with this net.Overall this is a fantastic net. It feels like a professional quality and I think will last a very long time with care.

The setup / assembly takes a bit of work, with everything needing to be bolted together give yourself a good half hour for full setup. Takedown is a bit quicker, obviously, and if you use power tools (like a cordless ratchet), you can speed things up a bit in both directions. It has a full-length bar spanning the net at the bottom, which coupled with the ratchet / net tensioner, makes for a nice sag-free setup...very professional looking. The quality is outstanding, and once you lock the wheels it pretty much stays in place unless you accidentally plow into it running across the court trying to make that impossible shot.I've used a lot of cheaper nets, but now that I've got my hands on this, those cheaper nets seem like a waste of time and money. If you have the budget for a decent net, this is a good one, and I definitely recommend it, whether you're a pure amateur getting started or a pro looking for some practice time. 5 stars.
