The reinforced straight-cut tab holds up well to frequent handling, making them great for organizing paperwork in an office or filing system. The U-clip fastener securely holds documents in place without tearing the pages. The manila material is sturdy but not too thick, making it easy to flip through files. A solid choice for anyone needing reliable file folders for long-term use...

I’ve been using the Smead End Tab Fastener File Folders to keep my home records in order and to organize documents for the beach cleanups we run at Padre Island National Seashore. These folders are practical and get the job done, though they’re not without their quirks. The U-clip fastener is sturdy enough for holding multiple pages securely. It’s a simple system that keeps documents where they need to be, whether it’s my utility bills or forms for volunteers. The straight-cut tab is easy to label and gives plenty of space to write or stick labels for clarity. I appreciate the reinforced tab—it holds up better than the standard ones, especially when I’m flipping through them frequently. However, I’ve noticed the manila material isn’t as heavy-duty as I’d hoped. It works fine for home use and organizing volunteer forms, but if you’re using them in rougher conditions or carrying them around a lot, they might wear out faster. They also don’t hold up as well if they get exposed to humidity, which is a challenge when dealing with outdoor beach activities.

The folders are good quality and work well for office functions like any other folders. Our organization uses a lot of these folders and I thought the u clips would help but they little plastithingies were too finicky a just got in the way. The are good folders for organizing and daily use. They are reasonably durable a not a bad value.

Ummm....These folders require assembly. The fasteners are two pieces that have to be put together for each folder. There are no instructions for how to do this, so either I'm a moron or they simply don't work. The clip doesn't even hold one sheet of paper in the folder. The clip also doesn't stay attached. Returning. Not useful to me at all.j
