I tried th cheaper ones, they are awful, they do not work, this is the only filter for chlorine I will ever buy from now on, unfortunately I got a defective one with no gasket seals so I had to return it, but I am sure the filter was fine, just no seals/gaskets

The filter works well. Removes odor and sediment much better than paper filters

Our municipal water went brown, they said safe to drink but don’t wash clothes with it! Our neighbours were all complaining, we had about a 6 month old filter in-line and didn’t even notice a difference. We took two juice glasses filled one from a unfiltered hose outlet and it was brown, other from a sink outlet crystal clear, well beyond our expectations. Great product.
