I have been using ceramic pads on all my vehicles for roughly 10 or better years so reading this ad about these semi metallic pads so they made them sound like they were some special pads I was very skeptical about getting them seeing what I remember about s. Metallic pads was they were squeaky to answer this I should have gotten the ceramic. these semi are embarrassing the slower you go the louder they get. They say they will not squeal

The pads are identical to the originals on my 1988 Electra Glide, with one important exception. The threads on the back are too big for the small bolt that holds the inner pad in place. I’ll need to go to the hardware store to find a bolt to fit the pad.

The fit was perfect. They work very good. The only reason i didn't give them 5stars is they do squeal a bit.

The one person was correct about the pad cup retaining scree was the wrong machine thread. I was able to cut down some metric machine screws to make them work. Used locktite on the threads. Make sure you remove the sliding caliper bolts and lube them so the caliper slides as the brake pads wear. even pad wear for longevity. I had 52K miles so I found a lot of condensation in the brake master cylinder. I cleaned them out added new Dot3 fluid and blead both fronts.
