Update: 5-29-2024... One of the sprayer heads stopped oscillating. It got stuck. Unfortunately, it was 2 days past my Amazon return date BUT... Melnor has a 2 year warranty. So I went to Melnor.com, explained my situation and, without question, they are sending me a new sprinkler. AND... the head I bought last year from the big box store is leaking, they are handling that too. GREAT PRODUCT... AMERICAN Customer Service as it should be. I am waiting for my delivery. Thank you Melnor... :DThe Melnor Watering Sprayer is a good choice because it works well. Covers well and is adjustable to short or long range. I like it. It stays where I need it to stay, even with heavy water pressure. I can hook it up in Tandem. I even changed the neck to about 8" higher with a threaded post to spray over my bushes and flower beds. Yes. It's a great sprinkler head.

I will start by saying that when I received the sprinkler it was missing its head. Make a quick call to Melnor customer service and within 3 days they sent me a new head. Connected everything together and worked like a charm, I was impressed with how sturdy the unit was.

The sprinkler is good quality, looks sturdy and durable. I found it a bit difficult to get it to spray properly for smaller areas (for example spraying out 6 feet or less). The spray pattern is better when spraying out larger areas for example 12 feet and beyond. My issue is we have a smaller yard so to get it to cover the yard we have to set it beyond the size of the yard and that way some water is wasted spraying the house and fence etc.

So far this sprinkler has worked well for me. It is all metal and seems to be well made. It's easy to adjust and never gets stuck in one position -unlike others of this style I've had. : )

I have really liked using this to water our back & side yard. I pull it out and place it in a new spot regularly as I alternate between grassy areas, and the soil always seemed easy to push it into. However, it broke off the stake yesterday and I have only been using it for 2 months. It came in a package without padding so it is possible it was damaged in shipping and I didn't realize it. (Love the new non-plastic packaging with padding from Amazon and am hoping to get a replacement in that!)

I h ave just over 2.5GPM flow hose Bibb flow and 50psi supply from well and I couldn’t get this bugger to spray more than 6ft. Disappointing as it was metal and looked durable. Returned the useless piece of scrap for something that can actually cover some lawn.

I’ve purchased 4 of these. Even when being careful 2 of the 4 are already broken, the stake is made out of really cheap metal and breaks easily. Otherwise a fantastic sprinkler head it’s only the low quality stays below it that makes it frustrating. If you’re purchasing I would recommend getting the step stake one or the sled one instead of this one.

This is a good sturdy portable sprinkler. I have always used fixed sprinklers, but I wanted to change to a more flexible & durable solution and this is perfect. The range is adjustable and I have not experienced the problems that other reviewers reported with it not rotating. The people who report this issue I think must have low water pressure. I have it connected to a garden hose and it works just fine with the water pressure that we have. Only once I found it not rotating but it was just because I had a kink in the hose. As soon I as fixed that it started rotating just fine. I have used many sprinklers before and I can say that this is well made and easy to adjust. It is the perfect solution if you want to water with a sprinkler system but you do not want it to be permanently installed. In my case I like to remove them during the day so my kids can play soccer.

My lawn is 3/4 of a circle so needed something that would be customizable to cover just the necessary area and not spray water on my patio every time I turn the sprinkler on. It's a great product fo the price, would buy again. Only reason for giving a 4 star is due to the fact that the area near the mouth of the product where the water comes out from the sprinkler becomes a pool/water-logged area. Apart from that it functions perfectly. Very easy to set margins and distance on the sprinkler. Would recommend.
