Worked well for 2 years but even with the outdoor module in a sheltered location out of the rain it failed due to corrosion. Very low quality components.

This looks cool and works fantastic. Easy to setup and use. Easy to read straight on. Can't seem to get the atomic clock signal where I live though. Too many mountains in the way I guess?

I’ve had several weather stations over the years, mostly Lacrosse, and this one is a wonderful improvement over the black and white screens. Very easy to see what’s going on weather wise from 10ft away or more even with it mounted 6ft high. I used to have to get close to my old ones to read the temps. Things I like about this weather station: super easy to set up; colour screen is big, clear and easy to read at a glance; you can adjust the screen brightness; it has a barometer reading which most have eliminated. This last feature is important to me as I suffer from vertigo when air pressure is very high or very low. I can manage my day based on the barometer trend. Good price for what you get. Couple of moot points, you do have to plug it in for constant reading or you can run it off the batteries which gives you a 10 second window for viewing (this also means you have to touch the station to activate). The description does say it has the Atomic feature but it doesn’t. Not a problem as my watch and phone has Atomic time, don’t need to know to the very second. Very happy with this purchase.

Great price, way better than Canadian Tire. It has different looks that you can change, different boxes. You can set the screen like you want. Large numbers so you can read easier.Lots of information on the screen

I was given a slightly older model than this but the person had lost the external sensor so the remote part wasn't working. I looked around for the sensor and it is available, but it would have been hard to find and fairly expensive here in Canada. So instead of looking for the sensor, I bought this weather station because it includes the sensor which was needed for my older station. I bought a warehouse special from Amazon for a very inexpensive price and it showed up the very next day. It was in a plain brown box but it looked brand new.So I put batteries into the remote sensor and the weather station itself and fired it up and to my great surprise, the remote sensor information shows up in both stations simultaneously!I placed the older weather station outside in a screened porch, and now I can tell the difference in temperature inside the porch and outside in the windy yard, and in the house I can see the inside temperature and the outside information as well on the new weather station.I am very happy with my purchase!

I bought this on September 4/2018, and have had nothing but grief with this model since. First off, it has eaten through three pair of batteries, Lithium batteries at that, keeping in mind that in extreme temperatures, Lithium batteries are needed, not Alkaline.Alkaline batteries tend to leak, and also fade much quicker. Most weather station manufacturers reccomend Lithium if in extreme temperatures, hot or cold. Second flaw which other customers have mentioned, the inside and outside temps are off by one and a half to two degrees, not at all accurate. The sun on the forecast shines 24/7, and the forecast is always off. Lastly, the companies customer service is dismal at best. Don’t waste your hard earned money on this inferior product, stick to the proven manufactures of weather stations, makers such as Thermo Pro, and more specifically, Oregon Scientific, both of whom I own a outdoor weather station from.

I like it. This was purchased to replace a unit from another manufacturer from well over a decade ago. As usual for antiquated tech, that old one cost about twice as much as this one for a black and white, generally 'old fashioned' look and feel, etc. I'd kind of wanted to do the whole wind/rain thing and hook up to 'net, etc. But due to trees and wife rolling her eyes as I worked out roof mounting, I just went with the basics! It's only been in a day, so I can't comment on longevity. But I like this unit. It's clear, easy to read from 5-10' away, which as far as I'm going to really be looking at it in our kitchen. One thing that might be nice is for it to automatically dim in lower light conditions, but this really isn't a big deal. The outside sensor, (about 20' away through walls and glass), synched immediately and tracks well, (within a degree), of another old fashioned thermometer. right now, it's sitting on a counter, but it's going to be mounted about 5.5' up on a wall. I did notice that when viewing from below, some parts near the top of the display can fade out a bit from the angle. And this starts as soon as maybe 10 degrees up, and gets worse. In short, I don't think this thing would do well if mounted high up; though I'm not sure why you'd want to do that with this style of unit anyway. I don't notice the same fade from side-to-side angles at all; even when almost to 90 degrees; though of course, at far side angles it's hard to see anything anyway. As for features/functions, it clearly covers the basics. I don't personally care about or need the alert functions, but I suppose potentially useful or interesting some cases. The pictorial graphics of upcoming weather in addition to the barometric trend bars is a nice touch. As is the outside temperature trend arrow. And although it's also kind of a "who cares" feature, I really like the moon phase display as well.So I'm going to give this a 5 star because it's nice and meets my expectations, etc. If any trouble comes up with it, I'll update accordingly.

Works perfectly.... easy to set up... remember to look at a calendar to set the moon phase correctly...I had a Celestron model 47011 but it was discontinued by the manufacturer, so I had a little apprehension in buying this unit from La Crosse.... we use the weather station daily, as itgives us an indication of temperatures both inside and out , and we then set our Mitsubishi heat pump according.

I like it for the most part. The time can be difficult to read from an angle (the black space around it is not dark enough). I bought this unit specifically because of the barometric history graph but came to find out the pressure readings are only relative to the current pressure. I wanted to keep track of the pressure when I get migraines, knowing the trend will be useful but I would have liked to know the actual pressure as well. The inside and outside temperature readings are usually over a degree (Celsius) apart when I have both of them sitting side by side, in my experience this is more or less expected. Overall a decent unit.

This item totally met my expectations for both functionality, options, and price. The display is of a decent size, much like a tablet overall, and is bright with the 2 different dim settings.Right out of the box it was very easy to set up. The date time, temperature alarms were not difficult to set up via the side control buttons and will be a nice bonus. This unit packs a lot of info, as described in the Amazon advertisement as well as the La Crosse website, and so far has been accurate to within a degree for the different temperature read outs. Having an extra sensor unit is extremely handy coupled with the sensor built into the main unit itself. I bought this for a single room in which I needed to have an accurate account of Temp and Humidity, and having all the information displayed visually at a glance is awesome. A lot of features for the money, and stylish as well. I have had this unit for going on a month and it has had no issues thus far. I am very satisfied with this item and would recommend this product. There are many other models to choose from with varying styles of displays and varying degrees of options.
