This is set has everything needed for crabbing except the crab pot (and the bait). The buoy is as per WA DFW regulations. The line has enough length, unleaded and sinks (as per regulation). You also get 4 point harness with plastic clips, which are easy to attach and very strong, the bait bag is a bit flimsy but works fine a season or 2. And it comes with a measuring device which is required to be always at hand when crabbing. Very good, great deal for the price.

this is great! The rope really isn’t bad. You just need to use a piece of wood to wrap it around to keep it organized. The harness works well. I sent I bought this for one of my pots and will buy another for my husband. I use this with the Walmart collapsible pot. This is great for someone just starting not wanting to spend a lot of money .

I found a better pricing for individual items but if youre lazy to find one each, this is a great option. the quality seemed ok and price was fair.

i've been using this kit for about one year on a 24" square cage, and it's better quality than most other non-lead no-brand sinking ropes I have purchased in various marine stores. It's a good kit, with the exception of a few things you need to watch out for:1) The main weakness with this kit is in the orange nylon cords linking the 4 clips. It's attached like an eye splice around the clip, but there aren't enough weaves on it, and in my case, the nylon cord detached from 2 of the clips after a few uses. Just give it a few extra weaves, and keep an eye on it (or fasten it better with twine/tape).2) You need a lead weight with this kit. If you haven't used the line in a while, air that is trapped in the line typically causes it to stay afloat for a few min, until it eventually sinks. I recommend buying a lead weight to put on the line, to avoid jamming into propellers (including your own), esp when there is current and the floater wanders.3) Minor details. The included crab gauge/caliper also sinks. It slipped out of my hands and I lost it. I typically keep it on the boat, but consider attaching it to the cage, or putting a keychain float on it.Other notes:1) Nice line. The line is nice and quite flexible and worth every dollar. it's not as stiff as other sinking lines I've used, so it typically remains typically tangle free, and it's easy to untangle, and easy to coil neatly. I like "piling-up"/feeding the line in a heap on the deck under the cage, so that when I quickly drop the cage out, the line feeds out on its own from the heap all the way to the floater. This line works really well with that technique.3) Length a bit short. i wish this line was just a bit longer, maybe 125'. There's good crab spots in 85ft down in my region, and 100' is a bit on the short side, tide and all. I ended up splicing it with a section from another line.
