Granny Gems

Pro: This fits very well and doesn't have the sticky glue that an older one had on the back of my Dell keyboard 15 years ago. These new ones work even better without that sticky part and fits like a tight glove. Still slightly opaque in appearance rather than clear, so its not as easy for me to see the letters, symbols, etc. compared to nothing at all. However, the keyboard protection, ease of typing, thinness, and feel of the cover is great and can't be beat for the value. I'll purchase two more to have as a backup because I really love the Dell keyboard and layout. An added bonus is that the Dell keyboard numbers and lettering stay like new now with this awesome cover. Plus I enjoy having a sandwich, a cup of coffee, tea or water while I'm working without concern! Highly Recommended!!Con: I do wish they made the same cover in a super clear view plastic, but considering how expensive these keyboards are nowadays it's a bargain. Much appreciated and I rate it the highest 10 Granny Gems!!

I bought this as a gift for an elderly man. He was taping plastic over his keyboard "because of the dust." I told him that this will not only keep out dust, it will keep out cookie crumbs and even a drink you might spill on it. Added to that, you can wash it in soap and water, dry it off and use it again. Keyboards are some of the germiest items we own. Now he can type to his heart's content with no issues. This skin is thin enough to be good for a touch typist.

Very simply, this cover is the right fit for what I need, and I no longer have any problems with dust or other materials -- I'm horrible about eating while using my computer -- getting into the keyboard. Easy, effective solution.

It works Perfectly. I love the color. Best of all it protects the keyboard and keeps the dust bunnies away !

I have dirty keyboards. I don't mean a bit of dust, I mean lots of dust and, confession time, food from my eating over the keyboard. I can do something about the food drops; I don't have a lot of control over the dust that permeates everything out here in the country. The only thing I hate worse than a dirty keyboard is a cheesy keyboard cover. However, I rose above my keyboard cover prejudices and looked at a few covers sold on Amazon. This one seemed to be more in line with what would be practical for me because it was a thin silicone instead of a harder plastic cover. And it didn't appear to look ugly.I like it. I really like it. It fit my keyboard perfectly (I had the sense to get the keyboard model number off the bottom of the unit before I ordered it). It even looks nice. It blends in so well with the overall look of the keyboard I don't think I would notice it was a cover until I started typing and felt the silicon instead of plastic keys.Unlike some covers that are flat, each key in this cover has its own little separate section so you feel the individual keys. The indentation for each key looks to be about 1/4" an inch so there a good delineation between keys. There is not any bagginess on the keys. This cover fits the keys and the keyboard perfectly. The cover went on very easy. I started with the top row of the keyboard and it laid down just like it had been there for years. For those of you who touch-type, the ridge on the home keys (F, J, 5) is not as pronounced as it is without the cover. That's just a learning curve for me and I'm already getting used to it. I only bring this up in case anyone thinks the sensitivity of the home keys will be too reduced to feel the ridge. The ridge is still there, just not as pronounced as it would be without the cover.I'm pretty happy with the keyboard cover. I even ate some cookies while I was typing this review and all I had to do was take off the cover, shake it out over the garbage can, and put it back on.The question I always ask myself when I'm writing a review is "would I buy this again?" Yes, I would.ETA 12/10/2018: The keyboard cover just passed a major test. My hand hit my cup of water I keep on my desk and over it goes... water spills on the front part of my desk and flows right on top of the keyboard. I wiped the desk dry and mopped the floor (it was a 16oz cup of water so I made a mess!) to keep the flood from spreading. I tilted the keyboard to let as much water run off as possible and then I gently took the keyboard cover off and the keyboard was dry. I wiped the cover with a small towel and it was dry in seconds. I really like this keyboard cover.I noticed one of the reviewers was unhappy with the cover because it didn't fit her keyboard very well. She might have just purchased the wrong cover. This cover is specifically for a Dell RH659 L100 SK-8115 104-key USB Wired Keyboard. It won't fit anything else. The keyboard model is on the bottom of the keyboard.
