I had nothing but good things to say, unfortunately it only last me a few months. I purchased it almost a year ago but never started using it until this riding season. It worked great, I really enjoyed it until we went riding tonight and it broke apart.The knot at the end of the nose piece just pulled out and it unraveled. I’m not sure I’d buy another one I’m still on the fence, nothing else negative to say about it I know things break on accident so I’m still considering a replacement

A good hackamore, I love the lines and look of a S hackamore. The rope noseband is quite stiff, and wants to lay flat, so when not in use, I am shaping it with a piece of twine. I also found the noise of the chain chin strap irritating , so switched to a leather strap. My horse is responding very well to it.

Exactly how it looks and is well made! My thoroughbred that I use for barrels LOVES IT. She works so much better in it. I wrapped the nose band with some cloth and vet wrap to keep from rubbing her nose raw, but awesome.

I've ridden in this twice since buying it and both times I was very impressed by the product. The shanks are strong and clean, the curb chain adjusts well to my thoroughbred's narrow face, and the rope is strong but flexible. It is a bit harsh and might rub out on my mare's nose so I'd recommend buying a sheepskin cover or wrapping it in vet wrap when using it or only use it for a horse with tough skin. It's a really nice product and arrived on time and in great condition. A hack was just what I needed for my mare who plays with her bits when we ride. She stops well in this, because the pressure from the curb chain is really effective. She does have a habit of rubbing her face on things and she does it in this hack too but it's pretty typical of her. For the price this is a wonderful product.

I bought this to use for a gelding I bought that had recently had his tongue cut by a bit. It works well for the purposes, I think the noseband is a little long, but it could be fixed. The one thing I don't like is that the clips on the chain are almost impossible to get off to adjust chain length. I ended up breaking them and putting tiny caribeener clips on it. I also used vet wrap to wrap the noseband because it was very stiff and not soft at all.

Came early!! Was very happy about that. But the chain and wire were crossed when it got here. Luckily I was about to fix it but it wasn't easily since the screw doesn't get wire enough to get the chain threw. But over all very happy!!
