Durability and breathability come together to form the Hodgman H5 stocking foot wader. We know you'll be scrambling up rocky, brush covered banks or climbing in and out of drift boats we utilize 5-layer construction on the leg and seat for exceptional puncture resistance. Additionally we eliminated inside leg seams in high abrasion areas while still allowing articulation in the knees for stellar range of motion and mobility. The upper wader incorporates 3-layer shell fabric for added breathability where you need it most with a Durable Water Repellant (DWR) coating to shed water from your wader. Micro-fleece lined hand warmer pockets utilize YKK water resistant zippers and a large capacity YKK zip chest pocket is perfect for storage. This wader also accepts the Core INS removable zoned insulation system so you can transform your wader for cold or warm weather wading (sold separately). The liner zips and snaps in place to create the one and only all-season wader available. Comfort is key for long days wade fishing so we use anatomically correct left and right booties with the Hodgman print design for a custom fit. Each stocking foot bootie utilizes 5mm thick neoprene to keep your feet warmer in cold water. Additionally our Comfort Fit Gravel Guard design eliminates a bulky and uncomfortable connection point at the top of the booties.

Seems to be reasonably well-made and considering I've only used them twice and can't speak to their longevity, would give a qualified "thumbs up".

I recently bought the H5 waders and was impressed with the quality. I spent a few days winter river fishing in them and they performed well. sizing was good using the Hodgman chart. I am 6'1" and weigh 235lbs and the Large King fit perfect wearing fleece pants and a puffy jacket under for warmth.

These are the worst quality waders I've ever purchased. Leaked at the seam after 2nd use. I was led to believe these could compete against top brands such as Orvis, Patagonia and Simms but after this experience I'd never purchase their product again. I also am left footing the bill for a product that I cannot send back to anyone as the return window closed shortly after I received them.Spend an extra couple hundred bucks and save yourself the headache and wet legs!

Very nice waders. High quality. Well built. And sturdy seams. I bought them a bit big for me. I am 6’ and ~150lbs. I probably could have gone down a size. I bought a large tall. But now I can fit as many layers under as I need. Perfect for all year fishing! Also, for anyone debating between this material and neoprene waders, I would suggest this style. You can easily add more warmth, but the neoprene guys can take away warmth in the hot summer! I fish 5-10 times a year and I imagine I will have these for at least a decade, if not longer! Fingers crossed the glue doesn’t degrade after that long.

Bought these last year September. Used them twice last year in shallow water and had no problems. Used them for the third time a few weeks ago and was in water up to my stomach - got soaked! Turned them inside out and added water to the crotch area - leaking from and back through the seams through at least four spots where the circle patch covers the seams. Left knee seam has two holes.Very disappointed, these were not cheap and expected them to last for at least three or four years!Have had other Hodgman waders and found them to be good value.

Nice fitting waders with great features. Unfortunately formed a small pinhole leak behind the left knee after about a dozen trips. Returned to Amazon, as they were gracious enough to take them back. Ordered another pair, to give a second chance. other than the leak, would give them 5 stars.

Ordered my first pair and they were ok for a couple weeks. 3rd time wearing them they started to leak at one of the seams near my calf, soaked my leg. I thought maybe it was a fluke so I got a replacement pair. The replacement pair leaked the first time I wore them. The neoprene boots basically fell apart near the toe al.kst immediately. Hate to say it but these are junk.

Bad quality for the price even worse service for it. I asked for L received XL. Start leaking around the crotch seams on the 2nd trip. Called and emailed service. They completely ignored my request for replacement. This is not my first bitter taste from Hodgman. The H3 was garbage as well. Worst service and product on the market.

My order arrived a few days early! Tried them on and they fit perfect, can hardly wait to try them on the Bow River this season. Packaging was great, box within a box within a box and then bubble pack sorrounding. Hand warmers on each side will come in handy, just enough micro fleece to do the job and not so thick to make it bulky. Went with a darker color wader to try and blend in to darker river banks. Not sure if it matters but darker fabric will be a bit warmer in spring and fall. Booties are a nice fit as well. Wading belt snugged up tight and should be fine. All in all very pleased with the size and materials used.

I am working on the warranty process for the 4th time with these waders. They fit great, and are heavy duty and comfortable, but after 4 to 6 uses they have developed a seeping leak in the crotch by the seam. this is the 4th time that I have had them replaced and each pair has leaked in the same place after 4 to 6 uses. for $220 I should get at least a couple years out of them. I would not recommend these waders.

I bought these waders along with the Aesis 3in1 Jacket, at the same time. These waders are worthy of a 5 Star rating. They are as good as or maybe better than the better known (and much more expensive) brand. Comfortable, very well designed and completely waterproof. They also have the option of a separate integrated cold weather lining, which I have not purchased. Overall, great value and highly recommended, can't fault it.

I bought these for a trip to Alaska. These worked great for two weeks of floating and hunting in the Alaskan bush. No leaks for two weeks of harsh use. Only drawback for me was the lack of insulation.
