The two colored wires that come soldered together are for coil splitting, if not splitting, simply fold it over and seal exposed wire so its protected from ground out on interior electronics. Install the same as existing wiring to pot or switch.

These pickups were an absolute breeze to install, they look exactly the way I wanted, and sound 10 times better than I could have ever expected! I’m so blown away by these, in fact, that I’m going to buy 2 additional sets, once I’ve purchased the guitars they will go into! Great product! Great build quality & amazingly sleek finish!

These sound so good clean but the output is so strong that they distort well. They are clear and crisp. I used these on a Strat style guitar that has a single coil in the middle. H-S-H. The bridge pickup was 14.67 ohms, the neck was 7.50, middle was 4.60. The variety of tones from the 5-way switch was beautiful! The bridge and neck are very well balanced and they sound great alone or mixed with the neck pickup. I am glad I bought 2 sets because I have 1 more guitar to upgrade. I may buy another set.

Holy cow! These things are amazing! I have bought two of them, and I dropped them into two different Strats that I have, making DIY Tom Delonge type guitars. They sound incredible, and I used A500K pots to wire them into my guitars. I also ended up buying Kaish 1-humbucker opening pick guards to pair with them. Wiring and soldering was easy enough, my soldering is not pretty, but it gets the job done. These knockoff Invaders make the guitars sound so great, and rolling back to the pot just a little bit gives a less aggressive but still beautiful tone. I use the guitars mostly for playing worship at my church, but turning up the distortion gain on my amp just a little bit, these pickups could rock your face off!

For only $20 these invader copies are good. If you’re looking for a cheap knock off these pickups are the ones for you, looks and sounds good. Only problem I had was the lack of instructions to solder the wires. I spent more than an hour researching on what wire goes to what. I came to the conclusion that the green wire is for grounding and the red wire doesn’t have any use unless you are installing a kill switch. Other than that these pickups are amazing.

I put these in a Cort Zenox Z22. They're not a perfect fit and they seem to be F spaced, because they're slightly offset with the strings. With that being said, they sound amazing. If the offset is affecting the performance I can't tell.I had to change my tone quite a bit as they are a lot more sensitive than the power sound pups that came with the guitar.Overall I'm happy with the purchase and it sounds like I'm playing a completely different guitar.
