My husband hooked these up easy put on our sailboat. Just know you don't get bulbs with them.

Installed as directed and they don't work. Pre stripped portion of wires previously removed prior to my purchase suggests they were prior returns that didn't work. Beware of this item.

These were so easy to install, and then I put a 12 volt light bulb in them and they worked in my camper. LOVE THEM!

I installed these in my RV using 12v bulbs. They were easy to install and work. My only issue is more of a me problem, though they look nice(cheap nice), not having something to dim the bulb light is annoying. Though the light produced will light up the space easily.

These fixtures are a simple and attractive replacement for the goosenecks that finally failed above my motorhome’s front seats. I like being able to direct the bulb downward or upward, preserving some of the original map-light flexibility in a more solid and dignified fixture than what I’m replacing. The product description shows a 5.1” arm length, which doesn’t take into account the fixture base; it’s 6” from the wall to the pivot point when mounted. The arm, while long enough to permit slight bounce during travel, nevertheless appears strong enough to hold up to normal use. Plenty of room for wiring and connectors inside the base when mounted flush. The supplied bracket is a simple 3/4” flat bar with ears bent up on each end to which the base attaches with small screws; for a product like this that is marketed for RV use, a larger round perforated base plate would allow more secure attachment to the wall or ceiling, and thereby improve the stability and longevity of the mount in the typical higher-vibration RV setting. At present the two screws that fasten the bracket to the wall are holding just fine, and time will tell how they stand up on a prolonged road trip.Simple and attractive…
