Already in 1968, Henry Massonnet designed the small ergonomic stool that quickly claimed itself - economical and comfortable - as indispensable for a whole generation. More than 12 million copies have been sold and Tam Tam made its way into the Museum of Modern Art in New York as well as the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. It became a little quieter around the iconic stool until it made a remarkable comeback in the design scene in 2002 - reissued by Branex Design. Since then, the nostalgics have been tearing around the colours of their era, represented by the pop series, while today's generation can be seduced by the shine of the Krystal, Chrome or Trend series. Tam Tam is still made by the Stamp factory - in exactly the shape no. 169 that brought the original into shape. Note: For better stability, the TamTam stool is open at the bottom.
