Product Functions & Features
Please note that our tools should not be utilized on drum brake systems, the brake piston compression tool can only service disc brake systems
Our brake piston compressor tool has a small steel plate spacing adjustable to 40-70 mm, giving you two more large plates for servicing disc brakes with more pistons. Its 360-degree rotatable center ratchet allows you to perform maintenance work by pushing the switch clockwise or counterclockwise
The specially designed measuring tape displays the result of brake pad wear in three colors: red, green and yellow, yellow indicates that the brake pads have begun to wear out, green indicates that the thickness of the brake pads is in the safe range, and red indicates that the brake pads are close to or have reached the minimum safe thickness and can no longer be used
Product Installation
1. Select a suitable steel plate and attach it to the original small steel plate of the brake caliper compression tool (if a small steel plate is used, it does not need to be fitted)
2. Push the adjustment button. Slowly rotate the handle of the compression tool, gradually increasing the pressure on the piston until it is fully returned to its original position. Do not use excessive force or speed as this may break the piston or seals
3. Check that the brake caliper piston has been fully returned
