I received a set of outdoor lights that can be operated by remote or an app. The lights are corded electric but can be turned on and off with remote or app. The app uses Bluetooth to operate . The lights are easy to install and are nice and flat laying flush . With the app you have a wider choice of colours and modes. There is 55 feet in total with lead to plug. We are putting these down the sides of our garage and we have a patio there so they will be fun have on for events . Everything you need to install is included although we used an electric drill instead of the screw driver.

Waterproof and app-controlled, they’re ideal for year-round use, whether it’s Christmas, Halloween, or just adding ambiance to your patio. I have other more expensive lights and these compete with those. Definitely worth a try. They really add to the outdoor ambiance.

I live in a mountainous area that draws a lot of astronomers because of our dark skies. There is a state park that draws people from all over for meteorological events. Because of this there are ordinances in my borough that prohibit light pollution. Any outdoor fixtures must be shielded on top and only illuminate downwards. both of my porch lights are switched and have hoods that cover the bulb at the base and sides. I wanted the lights to come on at dusk without to turn them on and off especially in the winter when it gets dark before I get home. I have tried other bulbs but the sensor placement on them was on the side so when they were inserted into my fixtures they stayed on all the time even in the brightest sun. I was hesitant to order these but looking at the pictures in the listing I couldn't see the sensors so I ordered them. These worked in both my porch fixtures very well. Now I can just leave both the switches on and now both my porch lights work as dusk to dawn fixtures.

The power supply barrel connector as well as the barrel connectors on the lights were already connected inside the box. The barrel connectors experienced some tension during transit that caused internal fraying of the data wire. This caused the lights to be unresponsive to both the included remote as well as the Android application. After identifying the problem, I was able to the cut off the barrel connectors and solder the damaged wires together. After the fix, the lights now responded to the included remote as well as the Android application. The model number on the box does not much the model number found in the Android application. The kit also includes ample amount of wire fasteners compared to my other permanent outdoor lights. The application is straightforward to use and has various scenes and animations already preprogrammed.

Great lights and versatile with 16million colour selection and many different patterns/scenes. Easy to install and comes with all of the hardware and tools. It comes with a remote control and the option to download the app for your cell phone. Unfortunately the app only works with blue tooth, therefore you have to be close to operate with it with your phone. It would have been much more convenient if it had a wifi connection, where you could control it from anywhere in the world.
