If you're looking for the right tool to dethatch your lawn and remove debris, this is the tool for you! In one or two passes, you will remove all of the dead grass and thatch from your lawn. You'll be surprised how much thatch, dead grass, and debris was actually on your turf! As most of you who are interested in a tool like this know, you need something like this so your lawn can breathe, there's good soil to seed contact, and grass can grow freely. For the price, you can't beat this tool. Set up was easy. I recommend using cinder blocks as instructed to weigh the tool down. As for longevity, it's been 3 years now and I have no complaints.

Instructions were easy to follow and operates great being towed behind our lawnmower, much better than hiring a thatcher machine!

Took a while to assemble. Quite challenging, but no problems and once assembled does the job required

Certainly good value for the money. Big box stores wanted double the $ for the exact model. Assembly instructions are a bit messed up. Looking at the pictures on the box or website will give you a better idea of how to assemble the unit. Just remember to adjust for tines depth , or you may dig too deep into the lawn. Go slowly and steadily with just a little bit of weight to keep the de-thatcher from jumping around. I have used it now , a couple of days ,on over an acre of lawn with good results.

I’m a father and put many things together as like many others. I thought the Assembly instructions were clear and concise. It took me an hour. The one thing that took me a while was punching the holders to hold the springs. You need a hammer. The product worked great on my large backyard. I didn’t bother adding weight as it worked well without it.I did not need to make any modifications. The 48” model is >$100 more and I’m sure it is just as good. But the 40” is priced very good and works great.Happy with the product. Hoping it can be used for many years.
