These tools are solidly made with nice handles. The "terminal removal tools" are on a nice chain making it easy keep them together, and the three circular ones are color-coded. But how do you use these tools correctly? What do the color codes mean? I have guesses, but your guess is as good as mine because no instructions are included.I went out to my 2012 Civic, 1992 Club Wagon and 2006 Corolla and tried disconnecting various connectors to figure out how these pliers worked. On the Civic I only found one connector any of these tools worked on. It was the alternator connector and was right on top. For all other connectors the handles of the tools were too long or the angle too awkward. For a few, the angle tool might have been right if it had been the other way around. But it was hard to tell whether I was trying to use it right. Why? Did I mention there were no instructions included? Not even a QR code to a web site.On the Club Wagon and Corolla I found several more connectors which these pliers could conveniently reach, and when they worked, they worked well: No banging the back of my hand against some sharp car part after trying to squeeze my fingers in the right way. I'd say they worked on about 1/3 of the connectors I tried them on.You may argue the Amazon product description has some documentation, but really it only has one piece of useful information - how to use the straight tool with a hooked fork on one end and a straight fork on the other. And future users of the tool should not have to rely on finding the correct product description page. One thing that was not obvious to me was how the rectangular side of the tool with big teeth should be deployed vs the squarish side of the tool with small teeth going the other way. Which one should be used to push down the tab? How hard should I be willing to squeeze? For the "terminal removal tools" ring, no information or clues are provided. Four of them are single points, four have pairs of points, and three are tubular. No tips on how to identify the tool to use for a particular job. No tips on how to use it. In fact, there are no instructions on what they are used for at all. My guess is they are used to remove a wire from an electrical connector, but I am not going to risk any of my electrical connectors trying to figure it out unless I need to - "if it's not broke, don't fix it" applies here. So these tools will remain a mystery for now.I would buy these tools if I already knew how to use them and that they would solve my problem, or if I had a stubborn electrical connector they might work on, or if I were a full time auto mechanic maybe I would take the risk they would solve my problem enough of the time to make them worth the money and time to figure them out. With good instructions included this tool would have rated higher.

I wish I'd had theses about 2 months ago you don't realize how easy it is to break those clips on these older Motors and stuff I could have saved myself some damn money if I only had this set of fires now these are quality flyers and it comes with a number of different tools to help you take those clips off your electrical items in your automobile without breaking them and that in itself is a total win they're well made fit good man I can't wait to go out there and try it on my truck but from what I can see of them it should change the way that I deal with the clips while doing Automotive work

Very handy pliers for disconnecting those tough automotive connectors. It can be very difficult to remove an automotive connector with just your hands alone. These special pliers make it a breeze. Both straight and curved pliers are included which should get to almost any connector.

Useful set of tools for separating those pesky electrical connectors in your car. If you are regularly working on your vehicle, this can make separating those connectors a lot easier. The set has a good selection of tools, all in a small case (I love having cases for my tools). Great value!
