These adapters are just right for adding an extra tap to a switch or relay that has a 1/4 inch spade terminal without changing the oem harness. The three configurations give you a high probability of tapping in a direction that is not obstructed, even in tight quarters. The female portions support retention clip holding for males that have the retention hole or slot. The male ends are correspondingly punched to accept retention devices. The sizing is correct for snug but not too tight mating to standard 1/4 inch terminals.
